Robin Beth Schaer is a poet and essayist. She teaches writing in Ohio. She worked as a deckhand aboard the Tall Ship Bounty, a 180-foot ship lost in Hurricane Sandy.
Schaer's poetry collection, Shipbreaking, was published in 2015 by Anhinga Press. Her work has appeared in Tin House, Paris Review, and Guernica, among others.
Upcoming appearances include panels and readings at the 2018 AWP Conference in Tampa and readings at The College of Wooster in Ohio.
