Robin Beth Schaer is a poet and essayist. She teaches writing in Ohio. She worked as a deckhand aboard the Tall Ship Bounty, a 180-foot ship lost in Hurricane Sandy.
Schaer's poetry collection, Shipbreaking, was published in 2015 by Anhinga Press. Her work has appeared in Tin House, Paris Review, and Guernica, among others.
Upcoming appearances include a reading in the Brews + Prose series in Cleveland, OH on June 5.
